Job summary

LakePoint Wichita is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices and service spaces. You will perform cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing and preparation of spaces to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

This role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50-100 lbs, attention to infection control, and adherence to State & Federal regulations. You will also handle light maintenance and report repairs as needed, supporting a welcoming

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, move, and push up to 50-100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, storage, work rooms, therapy, laundry & public restrooms: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, clean toilets, sinks, showers, dust, empty trash & disinfect surfaces.
• Complete carpet cleaning as scheduled.
• Clean vacant rooms immediately after discharge.
• Assure personal & staff compliance to all State & Federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials & fire safety.
• May be required to perform light maintenance, including changing light bulbs, checking call lights and reporting repairs needed to the units in TELS.
• Perform other duties as required.
