Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to help keep our skilled nursing facility clean and pleasant for residents. You will dust, sanitize, and maintain cleanliness across rooms, kitchens, and common areas, while making beds and assisting with linen changes.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, preferably in long-term care. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential to ensure the comfort and safety of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent working knowledge of cleaning supplies, appliances, and equipment.
• At least one year’s experience in a related field; long-term care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust, clean, wash, and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, equipment, and other areas as directed.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, showers/bathtubs, floors, tables, chairs, and countertops.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area and overall building cleanliness.
• Make beds and change linens; vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs.
• Sweep, mop hard floors; empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste.
• Tidy resident rooms; communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors.
