Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas, ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Manage laundry services including collecting, cleaning, and redistributing community laundry.
• Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested.
• Ensure community compliance with OSHA requirements and promote safety and risk management policies.
• Practice safety procedures at all times, including PPE, fire safety, MSDS, and Lockout Tagout protocols.
• Handle exposure to blood, body fluids, hazardous materials, and infectious diseases safely.
• Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to team goals.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment.
• Desire to work with seniors.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work semi-independently and follow community procedures.
• Ability to handle tasks with frequent interruptions.
• For drivers, review and sign the Driver job description and understand safety duties.
