Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Westfield, NJ is seeking a Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members. You will perform tasks across resident suites, common areas, and offices, and you must respect privacy while entering rooms.

• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, and surfaces
• Knock before entering resident rooms and respect privacy
• Collect trash and maintain clean disposal areas
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute community laundry
• Inspect linens for wear and follow replacement procedures
• Store chemicals safely and follow infection control standards
• Keep carts, equipment, and hallways clear and compliant
