Meadowview Terrace of Wadesboro is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and comfort throughout the facility. This on-site role supports residents and staff by performing cleaning, laundry, waste management, and basic supply upkeep.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recycling properly and keep waste areas clean and organized.
• Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment and report shortages or issues.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for residents and staff.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Engage with residents in a friendly, respectful manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Laundry Services: Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify management of any supply shortages or equipment issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
