Job summary

Rite of Passage is hiring a Housekeeper for Childhelp, Alice C. Tyler Village in Lignum, Virginia, to support at-risk youth through a clean, safe living environment.

This full-time, on-site role starts at $16 per hour with a no weekends schedule and a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM Mon-Fri shift. You will clean cottages and common areas, manage trash, restock supplies, and help maintain a welcoming setting for residents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 19 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required.
• Must possess a current Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the last 3 years.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Full-time schedule Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned common areas, kitchens, bathrooms and cottage bedrooms.
• Trash disposal in the appropriate locations and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Maintain and replenish inventory of cleaning supplies within your designated building.

Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children aged 5-14 with mild to severe trauma or neglect, psychiatric disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our unique location on a 270-acre farm provides a nurturing treatment setting with a variety of therapy resources. Pay: Starting at $16 an hour

What you will do: As a housekeeper here at Childhelp you would be in charge of maintaining the cleanliness of your assigned cottage or building. Your duties would include the cleaning of your assigned common areas, kitchens, bathrooms and cottage bedrooms. You would also be responsible for trash disposal in the appropriate locations. You will maintain and replenish the inventory of cleaning supplies within your designated building.
