Job summary

Rite of Passage in Lignum, VA is seeking a Housekeeper to support Childhelp, Alice C. Tyler Village.

You would be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned cottages and buildings, cleaning common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms, and handling trash disposal while ensuring supplies are replenished. This full-time, on-site role offers a schedule from 6 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday, with a starting wage of $16 per hour and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Be at least 19 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving history for the last 3 years.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of at-risk youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Housekeeper at Childhelp, Alice C. Tyler Village in Lignum, Virginia

Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children aged 5-14 with mild to severe trauma or neglect, psychiatric disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our unique location on a 270-acre farm provides a nurturing treatment setting with a variety of therapy resources. We bring the light of love and healing into the lives of countless abused and neglected children, and those suffering from psychiatric and behavioral disorders. Pay: Starting at $16 an hour

What you will do: As a housekeeper here at Childhelp you would be in charge of maintaining the cleanliness of your assigned cottage or building. Your duties would include the cleaning of your assigned common areas, kitchens, bathrooms and cottage bedrooms. You would also be responsible for trash disposal in the appropriate locations. You will maintain and replenish the inventory of cleaning supplies within your designated building.

• Be at least 19 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required
• Must possess a current Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the last 3 years
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule: Full Time - Monday - Friday 6AM to 2PM.
