Job summary

Maui Beach Hotel Inc is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and inviting stay for guests. Your strong cleaning skills and attention to detail will support guest satisfaction across our property.

You will work with a collaborative team, following health and safety guidelines, and uphold hotel standards while handling linens, supplies, and guest requests with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English communication (speaking, reading, writing) to interact with guests and staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or related field is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms and suites including beds, linen changes, dusting, vacuuming and mopping.
• Replenish amenities and supplies per hotel standards.
• Inspect rooms for damages and report issues to the appropriate department.
• Provide courteous service and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Respect guest belongings and maintain privacy and safety.
• Follow health, safety, and hotel policies at all times.
• Handle and dispose of waste properly, including recycling.
• Collaborate with housekeeping team to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Communicate with maintenance and front desk to address guest needs.

Role Overview

As a Housekeeper you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel rooms and public areas. Your exceptional cleaning skills and dedication to providing a comfortable and inviting environment for our guests will contribute to their overall satisfaction and experience during their stay at our property.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and suites including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Ensure all amenities and supplies are replenished in each room according to hotel standards.
• Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance issues and promptly report them to the appropriate department.
• Provide courteous and friendly service to guests responding to any requests or inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail ensuring guests personal belongings are respected and handled with care.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and hotel policies to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Properly handle and dispose of waste including recycling practices.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance team and front desk staff to address guest needs efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirement

• Proficient in English communication speaking reading and writing to effectively interact with guests colleagues and management ensuring clear understanding and seamless communication
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting and bending
• Flexibility to work weekends holidays and occasional overtime as required
