Job summary

The Center at Tucson is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a pristine facility in a warm, patient-focused environment. This full-time role requires 30-32 hours per week with shifts 8am-4:30pm and pay between $15.45 and $15.75 per hour.

You will perform cleaning duties across patient rooms, dining areas, and common spaces, abide by HIPAA and safety guidelines, and support a team that delivers compassionate care. Previous LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• FPCC fingerprint clearance required.
• A pre-employment background check and drug test are required.
• 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mop and disinfect floors, beds, restrooms, and bathrooms.
• Wipe walls, phones, and work stations.
• Vacuum, remove trash, and dust.
• Clean dining room and patient's room daily.
• Wear PPE and disinfect areas contaminated with bodily fluids when needed.

Job Description

The primary purpose of the Housekeeper is to maintain the beautiful building in its pristine state.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Mop and disinfect floors, beds, restrooms, bathrooms
• Wipe down walls, phones, work stations
• Vacuum, remove trash, dust
• Clean dining room
• Clean patient\'s room on a daily basis occupied and unoccupied
• Will occasionally have to wear PPE and clean/disinfect areas that have been contaminated with bodily fluids

Qualifications

Education, licensure, certifications, and experience:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a current and valid fingerprint clearance card (FPCC). You must have this in order to be considered for employment.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• 1 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.

• Must possess the ability to tactfully work with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
• Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
