Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms including toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Clean windows, doors, furniture, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection-control procedures.

This position plays an important role in supporting resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life by ensuring resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to community standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, dining areas, offices, and other assigned spaces.
• Perform routine dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and other floor-care duties.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Clean windows, doors, furniture, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection-control and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and orderly manner.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged property, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with laundry or other housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Respect residents' privacy, personal belongings, and living spaces at all times.
• Interact with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
• Follow all community policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding residents and community operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Administrator.
