Job summary

The Shire Woodstock is seeking a motivated housekeeper to join our team in Woodstock, VT. You will clean rooms to our high standards, make beds, stock toiletries, and ensure spotless common areas for guests.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of housekeeping experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a reliable work ethic. VT residency is required, with hourly compensation of $18–$20.

• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Answer general questions from guests
• Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
• Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies
• Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed
• Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed

Cleaning duties will include making beds, vacuuming and mopping, restocking toiletries, washing and ironing sheets, and other general tasks.
