4-K Housing is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents. You will perform daily janitorial tasks, restock restrooms, and keep common areas pristine. The position emphasizes quality service to seniors and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires ability to work independently or with others, prefer HS diploma or GED, and prior cleaning experience. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement across communities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial duties: clean and replenish restrooms, empty trash and recycling, clean desks and tables, vacuum offices and common areas, clean interior glass and dust surfaces.
• Maintain orderly janitorial supply areas and ensure spaces meet cleanliness standards.
• Keep common areas, hallways, and gathering spaces clean and sanitary.
• Report safety incidents to supervisor and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with make-ready of vacant apartments and manage keys and equipment.

Currently, Stoney Brook of Hewittis seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to continue our story of compassionately caring for our residents. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the community is maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and sanitary manner.

Must desire to work with seniors and have a tolerance for behaviors associated with dementia and other aging processes.

Shift:

• 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Monday – Friday
• Holiday shifts on rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily janitorial duties such as but not limited to: clean and replenish restrooms, empty trash, empty recycle bins, clean desks where applicable, clean tables in rooms and eating areas, vacuum offices, common areas, clean interior glass, dust partitions, cabinets and vents, mop floors.
• Maintain a clean and orderly janitorial supply area.
• Maintain common area restrooms, gathering spaces, hallways, and specialty rooms per company cleanliness standards.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety standards of the company and all applicable OSHA and health and building codes.
• Promptly report to the supervisor all safety and security incidents.
• Assist with the make-ready of vacant apartments as assigned.
• Ensuring the proper controls of keys, equipment, supplies, inventory, and other property.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2 years of related experience in residential/hotel cleaning preferred
• Great customer service attitude
• Ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests
• Knowledge of, and skills in general janitorial and cleaning responsibilities.
• Ability to use janitorial equipment including floor scrubbing equipment and vacuum cleaners.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Able to work independently or work with others in the completion of assigned tasks.
• Must be willing to undergo a routine background check
