Job summary

Old Orchard Nursing and Respiratory Center in Toledo, OH is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean resident rooms and common areas while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will join a supportive team, stay reliable with a flexible schedule, and be able to lift up to fifty pounds as part of daily duties. Prior healthcare or commercial laundry experience is preferred; training will cover cleaning procedures and operation of laundry equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable and able to keep a schedule.
• May need to work a varied schedule as requested.
• Healthcare or commercial laundry: 1 year preferred.
• Healthcare or commercial housekeeping: 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms.
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Lift up to fifty pounds.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Solid work ethic and customer service mindset.
• Learn to operate commercial laundry equipment.
