Job summary

Three Bears Alaska is seeking a housekeeping professional to perform cleaning and maintenance across rooms, common areas, and grounds in Alaska. The role includes cleaning, laundry, restocking, and assisting guests while maintaining safety and company standards.

Experience in housekeeping is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. Availability for part-time or full-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, launder and empty trash.
• Inspect rooms and bathrooms according to company standards.
• Restock supplies and consumables.
• Empty trash from designated areas throughout motel/cabins grounds.
• Clean, dry and restock laundry as needed.
• Clean furniture and carpets as needed.
• Stock, refill and clean cabins/laundry facilities as needed.
• Maintain grounds outside motel/cabins including picking up litter and light maintenance as needed.
• Assist guests as necessary.
• Notify management of any necessary repairs or problems.
• Follow all safety and security procedures according to company policy.
• Perform other functions as necessary or assigned.
• Ability to efficiently time manage and work well with minimal supervision.

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, laundry, emptying trash, carpet cleaning.
• Ensure all rooms and bathrooms are cared for and inspected according to company standards.
• Restock supplies and consumables.
• Empty trash from designated areas throughout the motel/cabin grounds.

• Automatic raise of $1.00/hr every 1,040 hours worked. Auto raises will be provided based on straight-time hours worked until top of pay scale is reached.

Pay Range

Starting at $18.00/hr (DOE)

Working Environment

Work is performed in multiple settings such as but not limited to; climate controlled rooms/cabins with carpet/laminate flooring, exposure to extreme cold or hot weather while between rooms/cabins and in or around the laundry facilities when working outside. Occasional exposure to toxic/caustic chemicals. Continuously standing, walking, reaching at/below shoulders, frequently lift/carry up to 10 pounds below waist, up to 20 pounds at waist/chest and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
