Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Part-time Housekeeper for The Ivy Thornton. Shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm with a pay range of $18.50–$19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident and common areas, laundry, and maintaining safety standards within a senior living community operated by Oakmont. Qualified applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior housekeeping experience preferred, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other PPE to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
