Job summary

Sodalis Senior Living in Tallahassee is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the Community interior and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary, and courteous manner.

Responsibilities include general housekeeping for the community and apartments, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning common areas, refrigerators, linens, turnover of mattresses, deep cleaning, and following sanitation procedures to ensure a safe living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or related role.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping for the Community and resident apartments (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways and common areas).
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and manage linen supplies.
• Turn mattresses with assistance and empty waste baskets.
• Perform deep cleaning of apartments and maintain carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
• Launder all linens in designated facilities.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.

Job description

In the role of Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the Community interior, including residents' apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.

• Provide general housekeeping for both the Community as a whole and individual resident apartments. This includes but is not limited to: vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments.


• Resident apartments also include cleaning and defrosting refrigerators (as needed), cleaning and checking heat system filters etc., changing bed the bed and linens, and ensuring adequate linen supplies in each apartment. Turn mattress (with assistance) as necessary and empty waste baskets.


• Provide deep cleaning of apartments as needed. Pay special attention to the main entry area, focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows and light fixtures.


• Launder all linens by washing and drying in the laundry facilities provided.


• Follow Company sanitation and safety procedures.
