Job summary

The Cliffs in Sunset, SC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. You will perform cleaning duties across clubhouse facilities, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a welcoming environment for members and guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in housekeeping.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and other environmental safety standards applied to cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, polishing brass, mopping, disinfecting phones, and laundry.
• Uses cleaning chemicals to sanitize restrooms, glass doors, and exercise equipment.
• Disposes of trash properly.
• Operates vacuum cleaner.
• Regularly communicates with clubhouse associates, members and others to fulfill responsibilities.
• Reports damage, burned out light bulbs, and plumbing problems to supervisor.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Demonstrated experience in housekeeping
• Oral communication skills
• Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of OSHA standards and other environmental safety standards, as applied to cleaning chemicals and compounds
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Self-starter; able to work with little or no supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to operate all necessary tools to perform the essential functions of the position
• Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of OSHA standards and other environmental safety standards, as applied to cleaning chemicals and compounds
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Self-starter; able to work with little or no supervision
