Join us as a Housekeeper at TerraBella Senior Living

TerraBella Senior Living operates over 20 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia, offering a range of senior living options including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care. We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our TerraBella Summerville community, working the 7A-7P shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas such as apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices according to schedule.
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum floors, rugs, and carpets; rotate runners in hallways and entryways.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish bathroom fixtures; restock dispensers as needed.
• Scrub tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment and materials.
• Collect and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Manage community laundry and maintain the laundry area in a sanitary condition.
• Store cleaning chemicals securely when not in use.
• Ensure cords, carts, and equipment are safely stored and do not block exits, in compliance with fire codes.
• Report repairs and supply needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Effective communication skills in the primary language of residents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Interest in working with seniors.
• Courteous and friendly interaction with guests, residents, and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
