Job summary

Acadia Healthcare in Springfield, MO seeks a dedicated housekeeping professional to maintain a clean and healthy patient care environment.

You will perform cleaning, disinfection of rooms and equipment, launder linens, stock supplies, and prepare spaces for meetings while following infection control measures. CPR certification and first aid may be required; a state driver's license is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical or healthcare environment preferred.
• LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions.
• Responsible for stocking of supplies as needed
• Follow all infection control measures.
