Job summary

Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Sidney is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain spotless guest rooms and public spaces. You will help ensure a welcoming, home-like environment for guests through cleaning, restocking supplies, and attentive service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and pride in guest satisfaction. We offer a day shift with a hourly wage of $13–$15, flexible scheduling options, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to manage time and complete rooms within shift

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels and toiletries.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures to brand standards.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
• Restock in-room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and stationery.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly.
• Organize the linen closet and restock your cart for the next day.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with needs during your shift

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels and toiletries
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures to brand standards
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
• Restock in-room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and stationery
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items to the appropriate department promptly
• Organize the linen closet and restock your cart at the end of each shift to prepare for the next day
• Greet guests warmly and assist with any immediate needs or requests encountered during your shift

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for an entire shift, and bending, pushing, and pulling regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned rooms within the scheduled shift
• Prior housekeeping, cleaning, or custodial experience preferred but not required
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
