Job summary

Required to move furniture, stripping and waxing, burnishing (buffing) and carpet cleaning. Employees hired primarily for floor care shall be self-motivated, able to work independently and operate large floor-care equipment. This position shall consist primarily of floor care, but the employee will assist in regular cleaning when scheduled.

• Correctly prepares cleaning solution to disinfect
• Washes walls, ceilings and windows
• Dust and wet mops
• Empties wastebaskets in appropriate container
• Transports trash and waste to disposal areas
• Collects infectious waste in red biohazard bags or sharps and replaces supplies
• Removes & transports soiled linens to waste storage area
• Distributes laundered articles and linens
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels

Requirements
