Job summary

Ivy Park at San Ramon is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to clean resident apartments, public areas, and laundry for residents and the community at our San Ramon location managed by Oakmont Management Group

Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, Sunday–Thursday. Candidates should have prior housekeeping experience, be at least 18, possess a high school diploma, and provide excellent customer service while caring for seniors. Health screenings and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments as directed.
• Clean all public and common areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Housekeeper

is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
