Job summary

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeping Aide provides quality housekeeping services, and a clean, orderly and safe environment for all facility residents and staff.
• cleans assigned areas of the facility, including resident rooms and bathrooms, on a scheduled basis to meet high standards of cleanliness, infection control, safety.
• Plans efficient use of time and cooperates with other staff while maintaining adequate supplies.

Apple Rehab Rocky Hill is a 100-bed skilled nursing center located right off the Silas Deane Highway in Rocky Hill CT. Our facility features private and semi-private rooms that are spacious enough to fit their favorite chair. Job Description:

The Housekeeping Aide provides quality housekeeping services, and a clean, orderly and safe environment for all facility residents and staff.

As defined in job routines or department instructions, the Housekeeping Aide cleans assigned areas of the facility, included but not limited to: resident rooms and bathrooms, on a scheduled basis to meet high standards of cleanliness, infection control, safety and hazardous communication program. The Housekeeping Aide plans efficient use of time, cooperates with all other staff and performs responsibilities with minimum disruption to the residents and staff. Maintains a clean, orderly work area and department. The Housekeeping Aide assists in maintaining adequate supplies needed in the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read labels and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospital or long term care facility preferred.
