Essential Functions:
- Cleans all common areas including the lobby, guest restrooms, and hallways.
- Vacuums all carpeted areas and upholstered furniture.
- Dusts all furniture, hanging pictures, and fixtures.
- Sanitizes handrails.
- Cleans glass surfaces.
- Cleans doors, doorways, and walls.
- Cleans and disinfects common areas and restrooms.
- Mops or vacuums common areas.
- Cleans and disinfects soiled utility bins.
- Cleans and organizes laundry areas and storage closets.
- Ensures that the housekeeping cart and other supplies and equipment are stored safely to prevent injuries.
- Ensures hazardous cleaning products are properly stored and labeled.
- Cleans residents’ rooms or apartments by vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting bathrooms.
- Launders residents’ linens, towels, sheets, and other items as scheduled and needed.
- Ensures residents’ personal clothing remains separate and is promptly returned after laundering.
- Properly disposes of soiled clothing or linens following infection control standards.
- Wipes up water or liquids on floors to prevent slips and falls.
- Establishes and maintains good relationships with residents and their families.
- Practices proper body mechanics and safety guidelines when lifting.
- Follows company uniform and ID badge policies.
- Uses company-provided equipment properly.
Non-Essential Functions:

- Attends community meetings and participates in Life Enrichment activities when able.
- Completes required courses as part of HRA University.
- Maintains punctuality and performs duties reliably.

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least one year of experience in a senior community or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety procedures is preferred.
- Understanding of fire evacuation procedures.
