Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain spotless guest rooms, public areas, and designated spaces. You will ensure cleanliness, order, and a welcoming atmosphere, supporting guest satisfaction and a positive experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance needs, and engaging professionally with guests. Candidates should be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is a plus.
• Attention to detail, thorough cleaning techniques, and proper chemical use.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
• Basic understanding of safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: dust, vacuum, change linens, and bed making to standards.
• Bathroom Maintenance: sanitize fixtures, surfaces and amenities.
• Surface Cleaning: wipe furniture and decor in rooms and public areas.
• Restocking: replenish toiletries, towels, and linens.
• Trash Removal: empty bins and replace liners in rooms/common areas.
• Floor Care: sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all spaces.
• Report Maintenance Issues to appropriate staff.
• Lost and Found: report items to supervisor when found.
• Guest Interaction: respond to requests professionally and courteously.
• Privacy and Security: protect guest privacy and follow procedures.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. The exposure to hazards or physical risks requires following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment.
