Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort in our properties. You will clean guest rooms, restock supplies, and ensure bathrooms and public areas meet our standards.

Responsibilities include reporting maintenance needs, assisting guests with requests, and following safety procedures to protect privacy and security. This on-site role offers stable hours and opportunities in a growing hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping or related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned rooms efficiently.
  • Good communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Room cleaning in accordance with standards (dusting, vacuuming, linens).
  • Bathroom cleaning and sanitization of fixtures and surfaces.
  • Surface cleaning of furniture and decor in rooms and public areas.
  • Restocking toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
  • Trash removal and liner replacement in guest rooms and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in rooms and corridors.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate team.
  • Monitor lost and found and report items to supervisor.
  • Interact professionally with guests and respond to requests.
  • Respect guest privacy and follow security procedures.

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness and knowledge in proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to complete assigned rooms, organize housekeeping carts, and all other assigned tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
  • Basic understanding of safety and sanitation practices.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Working Conditions & Physical Effort

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines. The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. The exposure to hazards or physical risks requires following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment.
