Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living in Powell, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support residents' comfort and dignity in a caring, team-oriented environment.

You will perform weekly housekeeping tasks for residents, keep common areas presentable, and follow safety procedures. Must be 18+, lift 50 lbs., and have a high school diploma or equivalent. We offer flexible schedules and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic math and verbal communication.
• Must have reliable transportation and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist housekeeping tasks for residents, building relationships with residents and families.
• Perform weekly housekeeping: changing linens, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, dusting.
• Learn residents' cleaning preferences and keep common areas clean and presentable.
• Remove waste and follow safety regulations and procedures.

Housekeepers are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Housekeepers participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Housekeeper can include:

1. Work with the Morning Pointe team to build relationships with residents and families
2. Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including-
3. o Changing linens and making the bed
4. o Vacuuming and mopping of floors
5. o Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
6. o Dusting and polishing
7. Get to know the personal cleaning preferences of our residents
8. Keep common spaces clean and presentable
9. Remove waste from common areas regularly
10. Work safely by following regulations and procedures
