Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a dedicated full-time Housekeeper for the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill campus in Pottsville. You will clean and disinfect patient areas, supply rooms and corridors according to established protocols to create a safe, welcoming environment. Shift 7:00 a.m.

– 3:00 p.m. with Sunday–Saturday coverage, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include spot-cleaning, operating vacuums, stocking supplies, and reporting repairs to maintain facility

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment used in hospitals.
• Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting).

Responsibilities

• Spot cleans walls, windows, furniture, and carpets.
• Disinfects sinks, toilets, and urinals using proper techniques.
• Maintains supplies and restocks as needed.
• Makes beds and handles linens; cleans and sanitizes surfaces.
• Reports repairs or replacements to meet facility standards.

Performs housekeeping services for adolescents, children adults, and geriatric patients.
