Job summary

Seaside Skilled Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to keep resident areas clean, safe, and welcoming on site in Portland, Maine. You will support the care team by maintaining orderly rooms and common spaces, ensuring a positive living environment for residents and staff alike.

Flexible shifts, eligibility for tuition reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, and a 401(k) plan with employer contributions are offered to eligible full-time colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning or healthcare experience is a plus and training is available.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs floor-to-waist, 10 lbs waist-to-shoulder, carry 30 lbs and push/pull 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, attractive, and safe environment for residents to live in and for staff to work in.
• Be a positive part of the care team, contributing to residents' comfort and safety.
• Follow regulations and guidelines governing environmental services in long-term care facilities.
