Job summary

Seaside Skilled Rehabilitation Center in Portland, ME is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and inviting spaces for Residents. You will perform day-to-day cleaning to ensure a comfortable living environment for Residents and staff.

Experience in cleaning or healthcare is preferred, and we provide training. This full-time role includes benefits and opportunities to contribute to a cherished community facility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning or healthcare experience preferred; we are happy to train.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs floor to waist; lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder; lift and carry 30 lbs; and push/pull 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• You are a key part of the team providing great care to Residents and ensuring a clean, attractive, and safe place for Residents to live and staff to work.
• Daily cleaning and upkeep to maintain a welcoming environment for Residents, families, and visitors.
• Support a culture of safety and compliance with facility regulations and guidelines.

Hourly Rate $16.75 - $19.75

Housekeeper Education And Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prior cleaning or healthcare experience preferred; and we are very happy to train!

• Learn about regulations and guidelines governing environmental services functions in the long-term care facility
