Columbia Place Assisted Living & Memory Care in Portland, OR is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments, common areas, and amenities with compassion and teamwork.

You will work independently yet support teammates, using safe cleaning practices, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness that contribute to residents' comfort, dignity, and daily life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform routine housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Keep lobby, restrooms, floors, handrails, windows, mirrors clean and welcoming.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and remove dirt and debris throughout the community.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean and maintain high-touch and frequently used surfaces.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Report resident safety concerns or maintenance issues.
