Job summary

Simpson House Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping EVS professional to maintain cleanliness across the facility, including common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry spaces. This full-time role requires attention to sanitation standards and the ability to address issues promptly.

You will work in a healthcare/retirement community setting, with duties spanning daily cleaning tasks, safety compliance, and coordination with residents and staff. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Some Environmental Services experience in healthcare, hospital, or retirement community setting.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• PC skills: Basic level required.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning including vacuuming, dusting and polishing of furniture, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen & laundry room.
• Additional cleaning such as carpets, walls, windows, vents, high dusting, and molding/trim in all areas.
• Follow sanitation and safety policies and procedures; clean public restrooms and stock supplies.
• Alert supervisor to EVS or maintenance issues; address accidents and spills promptly.
• Assist with events to ensure a clean and orderly facility; communicate with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Provide accurate task updates for billable services; maintain cleanliness of company vehicles as required.

Take a look at the details below for the position.Job Summary: Ensures that any and all environmental service duties contracted by residents are being carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures at Jenner's Pond, Inc.
