Job summary

The Grove Rehabilitation Facility is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including resident rooms and common areas. You will follow infection prevention guidelines and help ensure a safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.

We value reliability, compassion, and attention to detail, with weekend rotation as part of full-time duties. Experience in healthcare settings is a plus, and HS or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• Must be 21 or older
• HS or GED

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces as needed.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection prevention and control guidelines.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report low inventory.
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment according to instructions.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and personal belongings at all times.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers.
• Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and applicable health regulations.
