Pyramid Healthcare Poconos is hiring a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. You will clean patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas, restock supplies, and follow infection control procedures in a healthcare setting.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with a compassionate healthcare team to support recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Healthcare setting or housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, lounges, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
• Change and replace linens in client rooms following discharge.
• Restock bathrooms and supply areas with linens, toiletries, and other essentials.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Complete assigned cleaning checklists accurately and on time.
• Follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and standard precautions.
• Use cleaning chemicals and supplies according to company procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed.

This role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in a healthcare environment where exposure to illnesses or behavioral health situations may occur.
