Job summary

Oakmont of Riverpark, operated by Oakmont Management Group in Oxnard, California, is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain clean resident apartments and shared spaces, and to perform resident laundry in a courteous, safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications include at least 18 years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a genuine desire to care for the elderly. The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company�s mission, vision, and values.
