Job summary

Oakmont of Las Vegas is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments, public areas, and laundry services with a friendly, resident-focused approach. The role supports a clean, safe living environment and collaborates across departments to uphold our mission.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prefer housekeeping experience, and be at least 18 years old. Health screenings and background checks are required; COVID-19 safety practices may be observed per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal communication with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may be requested to prevent disease spread.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Housekeeper

is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for both the residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner, in accordance with the company�s mission, vision, and values.

• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
