Job summary

Maggie's Place is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the facility’s general cleanliness, ensuring a sanitary environment for residents and staff. This role supports our mission of care and joy in life within a 5-star boutique senior living community.

The position requires handling cleaning duties, PPE use, and occasional cleaning of challenging areas. We offer full-time shifts, 8-hour days, and a family-oriented team culture in Overland Park.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Attentive to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a healthcare environment with residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, shampooer) to maintain facility cleanliness.
• Work in damp, dusty areas and handle waste or body fluids when needed with appropriate PPE.
• Handle cleaning solvents and chemicals safely using PPE.
• Assist with resident requests within reasonable limits.

Shifts:

In general, we offer 8-hour shifts. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) positions.

Role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team! This position is critical to our mission and is responsible for maintaining the facility’s general cleanliness to maintain a sanitary and infection-free condition.

Responsibilities

• Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and shampooers.
• Requires working in damp, dusty and dirty areas. At times must clean up human waste and other body fluids, as needed.
• Handles various cleaning solvents and chemicals and is required to use the proper personal protection equipment (PPE).
• May be asked to fulfill various resident requests within reason.
