Job summary

Westminster Towers Orlando is seeking a reliable housekeeping professional to clean residential units, resident rooms, and common areas in a senior living Health Center.

You will sanitize rooms after move-ins/outs, maintain dining areas, handle laundry protectors, sanitize daily, and support a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. High school education required; prior healthcare-cleaning experience desirable; on-site parking provided.

Qualifications

• A high school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.
• Working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean residential units, resident's rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
• Sanitize Health Center rooms after move-out or before move-in.
• Provide protectors to the laundry area after use by residents during meals.
• Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Clean, dust, sanitize, sweep, mop and vacuum daily of assigned work areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal by contracted vendor from the assigned areas.
• Fulfill cleaning duties as contracted by independent residents.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Cleans residential units, resident's rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
• Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.
• Send or bring “protectors” to the laundry area after being used by residents during each meal.
• Maintain dinning areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor) from the assigned areas.
• Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Education and/or experience:

A high school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.

Experience and Basic Knowledge:

• Working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable.
