Job summary

Eagle Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming environment across both resident areas and common spaces. The role reports to the Director of Housekeeping and involves coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required are a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and relevant cleaning experience. Candidates should be detail-oriented and able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, with flexibility to work varied hours

• Knowledge of safe and appropriate use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service public/common areas and private resident areas per established health, hygiene, and appearance standards.
• Follow housekeeping protocols for dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Properly dispose of refuse, adhering to infection control standards.
• Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste and prevent accidents; keep utility rooms organized.
• Assist with servicing resident laundry as assigned.
• Coordinate activities with other departments as necessary.

We're hiring a Housekeeper to keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming. This role reports to the Director of Housekeeping.

What You'll Do

• Clean and service public/common areas and private resident areas per established health, hygiene, and appearance standards
• Follow housekeeping protocols for dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Properly dispose of refuse, adhering to infection control standards
• Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste and prevent accidents; keep utility rooms organized
• Assist with servicing resident laundry as assigned
• Coordinate activities with other departments as necessary

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• At least one (1) year of related work experience preferred
• Knowledge of safe and appropriate use of cleaning supplies and equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform fine manipulation throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move objects
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing, including color recognition

Working Environment

• Work is performed in a well-lit, well-ventilated community setting, with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, water, and noise
• Flexibility to work beyond normal hours, on weekends, or in other roles as needed
