Job summary

Elevate Care in Niles, IL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will perform cleaning, laundry, and supply stocking tasks, while following infection control standards and working well in a team or independently.

Experience preferred, fluent English required, and flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and PRN are available.

Your Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Sanitizing – Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Maintain Cleanliness of Resident Rooms – Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a pleasant and safe environment.
• Linen & Laundry Management – Ensure the collection, washing, folding, and delivery of linens, towels, and resident clothing.
• Stocking Supplies – Replenish housekeeping and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow Safety & Infection Control Standards – Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a sanitized and secure environment.
• Assist with Special Cleaning Requests – Address any special cleaning needs or requests from residents or staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience in Housekeeping (Preferred).
• Strong Attention to Detail and a passion for cleanliness.
• Ability to Lift and Carry Cleaning Supplies.
• Knowledge of Cleaning and Sanitization Procedures.
• Ability to Work Independently & as Part of a Team.
• Compassionate, Resident-Focused Approach.
• Good Communication Skills.
