Job summary

Excel Care Newark is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff at our premier rehabilitation center. In this role you will clean resident rooms, common areas and facility spaces, follow infection control standards, and work both independently and as part of a team to ensure comfort and safety for everyone in our care.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Collect and take out trash to designated disposal areas.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Respond courteously to resident and staff requests.
• Assist with room turnovers and deep cleaning as assigned.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone in our care.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces while following infection control and safety standards.
