Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in New York is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, and ensure privacy by knocking before entering rooms.

You will perform laundry tasks, sanitize fixtures, manage disposal, handle chemicals safely, and keep carts and hallways clear in accordance with infection control standards.

• Experience cleaning resident areas and common spaces.

• Respect privacy and maintain dignity.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, and surfaces.
• Knock before entering resident rooms and respect privacy.
• Collect trash and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute community laundry.
• Inspect linens for wear and follow replacement procedures.
• Store chemicals safely and follow infection control standards.
• Keep carts, equipment, and hallways clear and compliant.
