Job summary

BriteLife Recovery in the United States is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe facilities across our behavioral health environment. You will support daily operations and contribute to a compassionate, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum two years’ experience with housekeeping.
  • Prior experience working at a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently.
  • Work well unsupervised.
  • Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with clients.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to walkup and down stairs during emergency drills or situations.
  • Has no mental, nervous, organic, or functional disease or psychiatric disorder likely to interfere with his/her ability to drive safely ( I.E. holding a medical marijuana card ).

Responsibilities

  • Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
  • Clean and stock restrooms.
  • Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
  • Notify managers of necessary repairs.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Assist guests when necessary.
  • Keep linen room stocked.
  • Properly cleanup upholstered furniture.
  • Performs general housekeeping functions.
  • Special Projects as needed.
  • Positively promotes current organization to prospective clients and employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complete annual educationrequirements.
  • Maintainsstandards of professionalsocietyprocedures and ethicalbehavior.
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Wearidentificationwhileduty.
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Representthe organizationin apositive andprofessional mannerat alltimes.
