Job summary

St. Joseph Residence is a not-for-profit Catholic organization seeking a caring, compassionate team member to join our environmental services as a housekeeper, providing housekeeping services for residents and common areas of our communities. This is a full-time day shift housekeeper position, working 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Schedules include every other weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 yrs old.
• Availability to work weekends and alternating holiday schedule.
• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
• Reliability: punctuality and good attendance.
• Adaptability: manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team collaboration: interpersonal skills and positive teamwork.
• Professional representation: maintain a professional demeanor and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas.
• Shampoo furniture, carpets, and chairs.
• Dust, polish and sanitize furniture and fixtures.
• Wash windows, railings, and walls.
• Deep clean resident rooms and apartments.
• Carry linens, towels, cleaning supplies, using proper sanitary and safety techniques.
• Adhere to established infection control procedures.
• Assist residents with organizing personal items and closets.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a Full-Time Day Shift Housekeeping position which works 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Schedules include every other weekend and every other holiday. Depending on our schedule needs, a typical schedule is either 64, or 72 hours in a pay period. Please inquire upon interview and request preferences.

• Assist residents with organizing personal items and closets
