Job summary

Integritus Healthcare is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to perform daily cleaning tasks in resident and communal areas, following daily work assignments to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

This role requires weekend availability and attention to detail when cleaning furnishings, fixtures, bathrooms, windows, floors, carpets, and general spaces. You will discard waste properly, store supplies safely, and help keep the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable state.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, and areas in resident and recreational spaces.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures; remove water marks.
• Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Clean floors through sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
• Set up caution and safety signs before cleaning.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and disinfect carpets.
• Wash walls and ceilings; remove dirt and disinfect surfaces.
• Remove dirt, dust, and grease from surfaces with proper cleaning solutions.
• Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators.
• Discard waste into proper containers and line trash receptacles.
• Clean vacant rooms as assigned.
• Ensure areas are clean and equipment is stored properly.
• Discard infectious wastes as needed.
• Follow cleaning schedules to maintain a safe, clean facility.

• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident and recreational areas, etc., as instructed.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that water marks are removed from fixtures.
• Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
• Ensure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such duties.
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators.
• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
• Clean vacant rooms as assigned.

• Ensure that areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
• Discard infectious wastes into appropriate containers.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
