Job summary

Langdon Place of Nashua is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home for residents while supporting infection prevention. You will perform daily and deep-cleaning tasks, prepare rooms, and ensure areas meet high hygiene standards.

The role emphasizes independent work and teamwork, with daytime hours and every-other-weekend shifts. Full- and part-time options are available, with benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, courteous, and caring approach.
• Previous long-term care or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned daily and deep-cleaning duties.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, fixtures, floors, windows, doors, and walls.
• Perform terminal cleaning and prepare rooms for new admissions.
• Follow applicable isolation and infection-control procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste.
• Deliver linens and supplies as assigned.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Complete required cleaning documentation.

About the Role

A clean, comfortable environment matters. As a Housekeeper, you'll help maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming home for our residents while supporting infection prevention throughout the center.
