The Arlington of Naples is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions in order to maintain an attractive, clean and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • 1. Perform weekly cleaning functions as directed by supervisor.
  • 2. Remove soiled bed and bath linens and replace with fresh linens (where applicable).
  • 3. Clean phones, bathrooms and kitchen areas. 4. Clean outside of refrigerator, dusts furniture and lamps.
  • 5. Check for cobwebs and remove.
  • 6. Clean woodwork as needed.
  • 7. Vacuum carpets and sweep as needed.
  • 8. Perform 30 – 60 day cleaning (where applicable).
  • 9. Defrost refrigerator.
  • 11. Turn mattresses (where applicable).
  • 12. Biannually wash windows inside and out.
  • 13. Vacuum and dust hallways.
  • 14. Clean fingerprints from windows, doors, mirrors and fixtures as needed.
  • 15. Clean common areas as needed.
  • 16. Clean resident rooms, bathrooms as scheduled.
  • 17. Complete maintenance slips and submit.
  • 18. Mop stairways as required (where applicable).
  • 19. Clean trash area.
  • 20. Polish and clean trash / linen chutes (where applicable).
  • 21. Launder all linens (where applicable).
  • 22. Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
  • 23. Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper order.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.
