Inlet Coastal Resorts in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking a weekend housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors, ensuring comfort and a welcoming atmosphere in our senior living community.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, laundering linens, restocking supplies, following safety procedures for cleaning chemicals, reporting maintenance issues, and assisting residents with small requests while respecting privacy.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping, especially in healthcare or senior living, is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are important.
• Compassionate attitude and respect for seniors.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Launder linens, towels, and residents’ personal laundry per established protocols.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and report shortages.
• Follow procedures for safe handling of cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards to the maintenance department.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with residents and families.
• Respect residents’ privacy and personal belongings while cleaning.
• Assist residents with minor requests such as furniture adjustments or retrieving dropped items.
• Work with staff to ensure smooth operations and a clean environment.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors in accordance with the facility’s standards and regulatory requirements. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for everyone in the community.

Currently hiring for weekend housekeeper with either a Fri-Sat-Sun or Sat-Sun-MonSchedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.


• Launder linens, towels, and residents’ personal laundry as needed, following established protocols.


• Restock housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.


• Follow proper procedures for the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and materials.


• Promptly report any maintenance issues or hazards to the maintenance department.


• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and their families.


• Respect residents’ privacy and personal belongings while cleaning.


• Assist residents with minor requests, such as adjusting furniture or retrieving dropped items.


• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a clean environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
