Base pay range

$15.75/hr - $15.75/hr

Cedar Creek of Muncie, a regional healthcare provider and true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper in our Cedar Creek of Muncie community. This position requires weekend availability. As a Housekeeper, you will have the opportunity to connect with, and positively impact the lives of, our residents daily! In this role, you will work alongside the Environmental Services Director to ensure our community spaces are maintained and kept tidy.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing thorough cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal.
• Cleaning assigned areas (resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, offices) on a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Collecting and laundering soiled linens following health and hygiene policies.
• Folding, sorting, and distributing clean laundry.
• Reporting supply needs and restocking supplies as necessary.
• Coordinating with maintenance to report repairs.
• Communicating effectively with residents’ families regarding residents’ wellbeing.
• Working well with others, taking direction, and resolving conflicts as needed.
• Physical demands include standing, moving, lifting up to 50 pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
• Fulfilling other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• CPR or BLS certification preferred
• Proficiency in internet browsers, Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR systems as applicable
