Job summary

The Crossings at Eastchase is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming environments for residents in our senior living community. You will clean resident apartments, public areas, and common spaces, following safety and cleanliness standards with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Dependable and able to meet attendance and scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service resident apartments, public areas, and common spaces according to established health, safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and removing trash.
• Properly dispose of waste while following infection-control procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies to prevent waste, damage, and accidents.
• Keep utility rooms and housekeeping areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to your supervisor.

What You Will Do

• Clean and service resident apartments, public areas, and common spaces according to established health, safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and removing trash.

• Keep utility rooms and housekeeping areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.

• Respect residents’ privacy, personal belongings, and living spaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping, and climbing stairs. Candidates must be able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and frequently exert up to 50 pounds of force to move objects.
